Elon Musk has some words for Tesla staff: stay focused, the stock will take care of itself.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk told employees of the electric vehicle giant they should "not be too bothered by stock market craziness" as shares keep taking wild, mostly downward swings. Tesla stock has plummeted close to 70% this year, CNBC notes, though shares recovered some losses on Wednesday and Thursday. In his email, Musk encouraged Tesla staff — whose compensation partly hinges on stock options — to "demonstrate continued excellent performance," so that Tesla becomes "the most valuable company on Earth."
