#EndSARS: Court Grants Eromosele Adene Bail of 1M Naira
Quote from Paul Ugbede Godwin on November 17, 2020, 8:05 AM
Adene Eromosele an Endsars Protester was arrested by men of the DSS on 7th November, 2020 at his private residence For an alleged involvement in the Alauasa Protest in Lagos State which was relatively peaceful until hoodlums changed the narrative.
The Nigerian government arrested him for questioning in Lagos and was later moved to a facility in Abuja, he was apparently held in detention for (9)nine days which is against the provisions as enshrined in the 1999 constitution as amended.
Considering the outcry made by individuals, civil society’s and the international community’s the federal government of Nigeria through the Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State granted Eromosele Adene bail of 1M Naira Tuesday afternoon with an heavy presence of security operatives.
The question now is of what importance is our Judicial System to the common man in Nigeria?
