Erin Murphy from "Bewitched" addresses facelift rumors, stating that at 61 years old, she hasn’t had any work done on her face.

Rumors of plastic surgery are making Erin Murphy laugh. In response to fans who conjectured that she had undergone surgery to attain her youthful appearance, the Bewitched alumnus revealed that her face is entirely natural.

“This is 61…WITHOUT a facelift, without any makeup,” on October 20, Erin posted a selfie to Instagram. “Not sure why so many random people on social media feel the need to speculate that I’ve had a facelift; but I haven’t.”

According to the former child star, who costarred with Elizabeth Montgomery as Tabitha on Bewitched from 1966 to 1972, it might be a "backhanded compliment" that people find her attractive for her age. Erin, on the other hand, sees a lot of experiences from her life when she looks at her face.

“I’ve got a scar on my forehead from when my head hit the pavement a couple years ago in a dog walking accident,” she went on. “I’ve got a scar under my chin from when it hit the kitchen floor when I was a little girl.”

She went on to say, “I have smile lines around my eyes, since I laugh more than I cry. I’ve got some freckles and a little tan, since I love the sunshine.”

In the end, Erin urged her fans to pause before they “write something negative about someone you’ve never met.”

“Why don’t you think about something nice you can say, or don’t say anything at all,” she penned. “Get outside and enjoy this beautiful day. That’s where I’ll be.”

Following Erin's open admission, her fans were thrilled, with one commenting, “You look absolutely gorgeous always with makeup and without!”

Another said, “You look fantastic! I never understood why people choose negativity instead of just scrolling by... it shows how unhappy they are! You look great!! Loved Bewitch and your smile!!”

Erin has reflected on her experience on Bewitched across the years, most notably revealing where her role as Tabitha would be now.

“I think she would be very successful at whatever she did,” in an interview that was published on October 17, she told Remind Magazine. “She would not be afraid to use her magic because women of my generation and Tabitha’s generation are free to be and do whatever they want.”

Erin went on, “I think she wouldn’t feel the need to hide in the closet. She would be out there living her best life.”
