No one these days does privacy in the public eye quite like Tom Cruise. To get technical, he is sixty-three as of July 3. Over the past few months, the timeless movie star has been traveling the world to promote Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, the eighth and presumably final installment in the $4 billion franchise he has been leading since 1996. He also saw Formula One, though his reunion with Brad Pitt, thirty-one years after they costarred in Interview With the Vampire, did not draw as much attention as the numerous sightings of Cruise out with de Armas earlier this year.

The 37-year-old actress revealed on Good Morning America on May 15 that she is "certainly working on a number of things," including "not just one, but a several projects, with Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom," after those sightings prompted romance speculations. And I am ecstatic." (McQuarrie directed the final four M:I film, while Liman directed Cruise in American Made and Edge of Tomorrow.)

Therefore, De Armas hinted that she has just been getting to know a potential costar without completely putting out the curiosity. That is also why Cruise was often seen with Hayley Atwell before to her M:I debut in Dead Reckoning in 2022.
