Flutterwave Going to IPO
I wrote today: “The season of harvest is here and more exits will happen” as I described the acquisition of a Kenyan startup by Nigeria’s Moniepoint. Yes, startup exits are happening, and one of the biggest has sent a notice: “Flutterwave co-founder and CEO, Olugbenga Agboola, has emphasized the company’s determination to proceed with its scheduled Initial Public Offering (IPO), despite challenges. He points to the necessity of aligning with global client expectations and compliance standards.”
People, that is great news because when that happens, a new generation of $millionaires will be minted, and they will put the funds into new ideas and innovations. Flutterwave, make it happen; IPO for Africa because we want many.
