Hailee Steinfeld, who is expecting a baby, drops a hint about the name she and Josh Allen might choose.
It's possible that Hailee Steinfeld has a wonderful name in mind. In a January 2 post to her Beau Society Substack, the True Grit star, who is expecting her first child with husband Josh Allen, hinted to the baby's name by posting a picture of a knit jumper with the word "Baby Beau" stitched on it beneath a Christmas tree.
As she thought back in 2025, the Oscar winner posted additional photos, including a few with Josh, writing about the “milestones, growth and moments that have reshaped me in ways I’m still processing.”
Additionally, as Hailee had previously mentioned, the 29-year-old and her family have a very particular meaning associated with the name Beau.

"Before I was born,” in a message published in November, she reminded fans, “my parents couldn’t decide whether to name me Hailee or Bailee.”
“Obviously, they landed on Hailee,” she continues, “but still liked the sound of Bailee, so they started calling me ‘Hailee Beau Bailee’, which we shortened to Beau."
She continued, "It’s a childhood nickname that I never dropped.”
In a December email on her Substack, Hailee—who married Josh in May—announced her pregnancy and included a video of Josh kissing her expanding tummy.
She marked her 29th birthday at that point by writing, "28 was wild, beautiful, humbling, and full of the kind of moments that sneak up and change you quietly. This year, I’ve been reminded of how precious life is."
After getting married, the Hawkeye actress and Buffalo Bills quarterback were "of course" considering having kids, and Hailee talked about how fulfilling her new life with Josh has been.
“That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable,” in November, she tells Bustle. “I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”
Amidst the encouragement he and Hailee received from all around them, Josh was equally thrilled about taking on his new position.
“The love that I’ve received from my teammates and friends.? It’s been really cool,” he stated in a post-game interview in December. “It’s a special moment in [me and] my wife’s life.”
