The family of Kelley Mack is getting together. The Walking Dead alum's sister revealed how their family is celebrating her life three weeks after she passed away after a fight with a rare type of cancer.

On August 23, Kathryn Klebenow posted on Instagram to invite Kelley's friends and coworkers to her "Los Angeles Celebration of Life" on September 7.

According to the official notice of Kelley's death on Aug. 4, the event will occur three weeks after a commemoration was conducted in her home state of Ohio in Aug. 16.

The young actress, who played Addy in the ninth season of the AMC show, was found to have a central nervous system glioma. At the age of 33, she died quietly, accompanied by her aunt Karen Klebenow and mother Kristen Klebenow.

The actress's commitment to both her personal and professional lives was reflected in the announcement.

"Kelley was known for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering support for those around her," the statement from her family clarified. "She cherished time with her family and friends, finding joy in collaboration and storytelling. Her infectious enthusiasm and dedication to her work inspired countless others in the industry and beyond."

"Kelley's legacy will live on through her contributions to film and television, and in the hearts of those who loved her," it went on. "She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her talent, kindness and vibrant spirit."

Her sister paid tribute to Kelley after her passing, calling her "a bright, fervent light" who "has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go."

Kathryn wrote in her Instagram caption on August 5 that "Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies," "She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express."

"She would want you all to know how much she loves you," she went on to say. "And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I'm so f--king proud of her."
