Jenelle Evans tells her detractors to back off following her son Jace's mental health treatment

Jenelle Evans is pleading for mercy. Weeks after her 16-year-old son Jace Evans was sent to a mental health facility due to an alleged incident with his grandmother Barbara Evans in February, the Teen Mom star made a request for privacy.
“I shouldn't even be getting on here to say anything, but I feel like I have to,” Jenelle, 34, stated in a video that was uploaded to TikTok on March 28. “I feel like at this moment, it is imperative for my family to have their privacy.”
The reality star, who shares Jace with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, denied rumors that she was "doing nothing" during the situation, pointing out that she had stopped using social media to concentrate on her kid.
“Behind the scenes, I'm doing everything I can for my child, and I'm doing what's in the best interest for him,” she added, “and that's none of your business to know.”
As a result, Jenelle requested that onlookers and close family members give her space while she works through the private issue.
“With all due respect, including my family, please just back off a little bit,” she stated. “Let us breathe.”
“I am not the villain in this,” finally, also she stated, “and you guys, eventually, will see that.”
Although Jenelle, who is also the mother of Kaiser Griffith, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith, and Ensley Eason, 9, with ex David Eason, did not go into detail about Jace's treatment, she did post pictures of the teenager on her Instagram Stories on March 28, showing him using a tablet and staring out the window of an airplane.
Jenelle's agent told Sources earlier this month that the family was still looking for the best facility "to meet his needs" and that Barbara, who Jace had been living with, phoned 911 after he allegedly pulled a gun on her during the Feb. 22 incident.
Based on the police report that TMZ was able to get, seven Brunswick County police officers attended to an incident at Barbara's North Carolina house that officials described as a "troubled teen disturbance."
After the purported incident, Jenelle's representative told news sources in a statement on March 12, “Out of respect for our client's family, we kindly ask that the media honor the privacy of her son. Jenelle remains focused on protecting her child's well-being and maintaining a safe, private environment for her family during this time.”
At that point, news organizations contacted the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office but received no response.
