Jennifer Garner, Maria Shriver, and other celebrities have shared their thoughts and reactions to the heartbreaking Texas flood.

Texas is experiencing an unthinkable tragedy. According to NBC News, at least 70 people were killed by devastating flooding that hit central Texas on July 4. Stars like Jennifer Garner, Maria Shriver, and Khloe Kardashian spoke out about the destruction.

Maria posted on Instagram on July 5: "Today, my thoughts and prayers are with the families in Texas affected by the flooding on the Guadalupe River in Central Texas." "Right now, they need us all to keep them in a circle of love."

While ten children and one counselor from the Christian summer camp Mystic are still missing, according to NBC News, the Kardashians star offered her condolences for their loved ones. Camp Mystic, which houses 750 children, was one of the establishments in the path of the disaster as the flash flood swept down the Guadalupe River.

“I can’t stop thinking about the families in Texas and the overwhelming pain they’re going through right now,” on July 6, Khloe posted a message on her Instagram Stories. “As a mother, this kind of tragedy hits in a place word can’t reach. The loss of those sweet, innocent children is something I can’t fully process, there are just no words for this.”

Kris Jenner, her mother, also disclosed that she was having a hard time accepting the awful event.

“My heart is absolutely shattered by the devastating floods in Texas and the unimaginable loss of those previous children,” on her Instagram Stories, the reality star published a message. “It’s a tragedy that’s impossible to comprehend and heartbreaking beyond measure.”

“Life is so fragile, and at times unbearably unfair,” she went on. “To the families living this nightmare, we are holding you in our hearts, praying for strength, and grieving alongside you.”

The Houston-born actress from 13 Going on 30 posted a straightforward message of support in the meanwhile. She posted "Texas" to her Instagram Stories. "God, be near." Others, such as Christy Carlson Romano and Meredith Hagner, found the terrible floods to be even more personal.

“I grew up spending my summers on the Guadalupe at an all-girls camp next to camp mystic,” on her Instagram Stories, the Vacation Friends star posted. “Part of my heart and soul is the Guadalupe River and in the hill country.”

“A spot where little girls were safe and loved and were connected to nature,” she went on. “My heart is shattered for the parents experiencing the unfathomable.”

What about Christy? She might have just escaped an unimaginable heartache.

“I’m sitting outside waiting for my daughter at a playdate thinking about how we were almost thinking of Camp Mystic for a camp choice,” the former Even Stevens student stated. “A lot of people I know send their kids there and a few of them don’t know where their kids are or they were just recently reunited with them.”
