Jordan Wright, star of Ex on the Beach, dies at 33.
One of the reality TV industry's own has departed. A TOWIE representative informed Deadline on March 19 that Jordan Wright, well known for his roles in the television series Ex on the Beach and The Only Way Is Essex, passed away in Thailand. He was thirty-three.
A statement from the ITV series' representative, “Everyone at TOWIE sends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jordan Wright at this very sad time.”
As detectives await autopsy results, Wright's cause of death has not yet been made public.

Around 12:30 p.m. on March 14, a worker near Bang Tao Beach, Phuket, discovered the body of a British man in stagnant water, according to authorities, who informed the Daily Mail that the site was roughly 20 minutes from the hotel Wright stayed at.
“The guest was identified as Mr. Jordan Wright, a British national, whom the hotel had been unable to contact,” the outlet was informed by Choeng Thale district station police commander Sutthirak Chuthong. “A search of the room revealed no signs of forced entry or other irregularities.”
He continued, “Hotel records showed that he had checked in alone and was due to check out on March 13, but staff reported that he never checked out.”
Wright was "restless and was moving back and forth in front of the hotel before leaving the area," according to the police chief's explanation of CCTV footage. "His movements eventually led to the location where his body was later discovered."
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Suthirak Chuthong, who told Daily Mail that the "case remains under investigation while we wait for the official autopsy results," officials think Wright was dead for no more than two days prior to his discovery.
“We cannot confirm the exact cause of death until the autopsy results are released,” he went on. “If relatives or friends have concerns about the cause of death, they can contact the police station.”
Wright originally gained notoriety in 2017 after making an appearance on MTV UK's Ex on the Beach. The following year, he made an appearance on The Only Way Is Essex.
Wright has been sharing details of his life on Instagram in recent years, including his workouts, motorbike journeys, and travels, even in the final weeks of his life.
On March 6, he shared a carousel of images from Thailand with the comment, "I'm Home," as his final upload on the platform.
