It's Keke Palmer's birthday celebration, baby. In addition to fellow Disney Channel stars Roshon Fegan and Trevor Jackson, the Emmy-winning actress celebrated her 33rd birthday with some of her closest friends from throughout the years, including Justin and Christian Combs, the kids of Sean "Diddy" Combs.
“I’ve known most of these people 4EVER,” shortly after her real birthday on August 26, Palmer shared a photo on Instagram on August 27. “They still show up for me! So happy spending my birthday with people that believe we deserve to share in happiness with one another.”
“Life is too short not to be in community,” she added. “I don’t need a reason to celebrate with my folks, but a birthday will always remind you to show grace and gratitude for where you come from and where you’ve been, most importantly who you are today. Thankful to God! Another year.”
The podcaster posted many photos of herself and her pals having fun at Lucky Strike Bowling in addition to the heartfelt statement. In the first picture, Keke was seen grinning broadly while encircling Christian, 28, and Justin, 32, whose father, Diddy, is presently incarcerated for four years on charges relating to prostitution.
In one photo, she posed with a group of pals, including Leon Thomas, the singer of "Mutt." In another, she took a picture with TV personality Scott Evans.
On August 27, Palmer's friend Chelsea Tavares shared a video of the two on her Instagram Story, captioning it, "Happy Birthday @keke I love you so so so so much!!"
"Friends since we were tweens," Tavares wrote on another video that he posted alongside Palmer and several of the guests.
And it's crucial for Palmer, who has a 3-year-old son named Leodis with her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, to have pals that get her.
“At the core of it, in life—wherever you are—things are going to happen,” according to WTTW, the Nope actress revealed during a 2025 event at Chicago's DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center, “and it’s about who you have by your side that helps to get you through.”
Her 2025 comedy One of Them Days made her understand how unique it is to have a group around her, and she was excited to explore those kinds of connections.
“A lot of times in life it’s so hard, and you want to just deal with everything on your own, or you feel like you have to deal with things on your own,” at the moment, Palmer gave Blavity an explanation. “But honestly, you need community.”
“You need a friend or a couple of friends to help you get through the other side,” she went on to say. “And no matter how difficult it may be, or how embarrassing it could be, two’s better than one.”
