Kesha Explains the Reason Behind Her Teeth Collection.

Kesha is a collector of human teeth, and We R Who We R. The vocalist of "TiK ToK" has long been a proud collector of human ectodermal organs, but she finally revealed the origins of this peculiar pastime.
“Do you know I collect teeth? I do,” at a Las Culturistas program on July 15, Kesha provided an explanation. “Send them over. The teeth started when I became obsessed with my fans and then someone was like, ‘My child lost their teeth,’ and I was like, ‘Can I have them?’”

The 39-year-old did, in fact, intend to create jewelry using genuine teeth—she previously revealed that she has received over 1,000 teeth from followers.
“I made a necklace, an earring and then a belt and then a crown,” she remembered. “Then I just started collecting them because it kind of freaks out straight men.”
Furthermore, Kesha's interest in collecting teeth has expanded well beyond their use in other products.
“I just started putting them all over my home,” she clarified, “In little jars.”
The singer of "Timber" admitted that her collection would draw criticism, but she maintained that it's making something out of what would otherwise be seen as garbage.
“Do you flush them down the toilet?” Kesha suggested. “Where are they going? Give them to me. Can I actually have them? It’s not a drill, not a joke.”
According to the Grammy nominee, “I am a pop star and I need your teeth.”
Beyond her fascination with teeth, Kesha finds significance in her collection.
“It just reminds me when I have a little piece of the people I love,” she stated this in a May episode of Call Her Daddy. “I have my cats had to get their little teeth taken out. They're little kitty wisdom teeth. I collect those too.”
The singer of "Praying" has actually been gathering teeth since at least 2012, but it's obvious that she has no intentions to give it up anytime soon. "I'm like the tooth fairy," she said.
