Kristin Chenoweth Marries Josh Bryant in Texas Wedding Ceremony
Kristin Chenoweth, the award-winning actress and singer, is officially off the market! She married her musician fiancé Josh Bryant in a beautiful and romantic wedding ceremony in Dallas, Texas, on {September 2, 2023}. The couple had been dating for five years after meeting at Kristin's niece's wedding in {2016}, where Josh's band Backroad Anthem performed. They got engaged in {2021}, when Josh proposed to Kristin on a rooftop.
The wedding was a pink-themed affair, reflecting Kristin's signature color and personality. The bride wore a stunning Pamella Roland gown with a sheer nude and pink overlay and a bow detail at the back. The dress also featured tiny pearl flowers on the bodice, adding some sparkle to the look. The groom wore a light gray suit by Michael Strahan for Men's Wearhouse. They exchanged vows in front of 140 guests at a private residence, where a string quartet played from the balcony. Their dog Thunder, who served as their ring bearer, made her grand entrance to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck".
The ceremony was officiated by a friend of the couple, who helped them incorporate their Christian faith in the music. They chose "The Prayer" as one of their songs, performed by Marissa Rosen, Crystal Monee Hall, Nikki Kimbrough, and Melinda Doolittle, arranged and accompanied by Kristin's music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The décor for the nuptials was planned by Crystal Frasier Weddings, and featured a soft romantic mix of white, ivory, creme, soft peach, blush to medium pink, and champagne tones. The flowers included calla lilies, garden roses, majolica, spray roses, hydrangea, ranunculus, veronica, mums, and various dark seasonal greenery.

Kristin told People magazine that she had never planned to get married until she met Josh. She said that he made her feel confident and beautiful and loved at any age. She also said that she wanted to keep her wedding simple and elegant, and that she didn't want to wear white. She said that she loved her gown and that it was very nontraditional. Josh said that he was thrilled to marry his best friend and that he couldn't wait to start their life together.
