Kylie Jenner Defends “Self-Made” Billionaire Status.
Kylie Jenner will continue to hold the distinction of "Youngest Self-Made Billionaire." The Kardashians star defended why she believes she deserves the title seven years after Forbes caused debate by referring to her as such because of Kylie Cosmetics' success.
"None of the money I've ever made is inherited, so it's technically true," in a Who What Wear interview that was released on August 27, Kylie said, "but people just feel like the privilege I've had was a major steppingstone."
The 29-year-old has already raised this defense.

“There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth," in 2019, Kylie informed Interview Germany. "That is the category that I fall under."
Two years prior to starting her beauty brand, the cosmetics entrepreneur actually stated that she "did not get money from" her parents, Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, "past the age of 15."
"I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans," she added. "I used 100 percent of my own money to start the company."
"Not a dime in my bank account is inherited," Kylie went on to say, "and I am very proud of that."
Because of this, the former cast member of Keeping Up With the Kardashians stated in her most recent Who What Wear feature that Kylie Cosmetics is "definitely the thing I care about the most."
"I learned so much, and I'm just so happy that I'm still doing it," Kylie, who has two children, Stormi, age eight, and Aire, age four, with her former partner Travis Scott, revealed "If I had to choose—you can just do one thing—it would be Kylie Cosmetics because it's just such a real passion."
However, this does not imply that Kylie has no regrets. As she reflected on her "enormous life" after becoming a billionaire, she said, "I changed my mind about that."
"When I was younger, I got really excited, and I got the craziest house I could in Beverly Hills, and I just kind of went for it," Kylie revealed. "I've realized that my life got too big, and I said, 'Yeah, never mind.'"
She elaborated, "I think I lost control of my life a little bit for a while there."
