A comeback to acting wouldn't be catastrophic for Miley Cyrus. In fact, the singer of "Flowers" recently described what it would take for her to make a comeback to the big screen, almost six years after making an appearance in a 2019 Black Mirror episode.
“If the opportunity or the script or the character was right or designed in a way that it would make sense,” during the 37th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on January 3, she stated to reporters “I’m totally there.”

Additionally, Miley, who won the Outstanding Artistic Achievement award at the presentation for her song "Dream As One" from Avatar: Fire and Ash, expressed her feelings about being nominated for a Golden Globe in 2026 for the same song.
“It’s just all really exciting for me,” she added. “Everything that I could have dreamed is a reality and so everyday I’m grateful.”
With her recent blonde hair makeover, the 33-year-old hinted at plans for another special endeavor at the event: the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary, which is scheduled for March. In fact, the Disney Channel veteran bid farewell to her trademark brunette waves in favor of a Hannah-inspired hairstyle that included the character's recognizable bangs.
She has undoubtedly been thinking about Hannah lately. In fact, Miley recently expressed her thoughts on the possibility of reviving the character for a new generation after announcing her engagement to fiancé Maxx Morando in December.
“I don’t know if there is a new Hannah,” in an interview with Billboard on December 3, she acknowledged that she had recast the role for a reboot. “This is the only Hannah.”

The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker shared how significant the anniversary will be for both herself and fans, but she hasn't disclosed what a celebration of the show's legacy will entail.
“For me, I love looking back at the growth for both of us because it’s very rare that someone grows up with their fanbase,” she clarified. “When I was 15 years old, I’d look out and see 15-year-olds and now I’m a grown woman, I look out and see other grown people. So, what I want to do is honor the longevity of the relationship that we built.”
