Twyse made this claim in a series of tweets on Tuesday, where he narrated how he was depressed and suicidal five years ago, and how Toyin Abraham reached out to him and offered to help him.
According to Twyse, Toyin Abraham promised to feature him in her movies and give him exposure, but she never fulfilled her promise. He said he felt used and betrayed by her, and that she only wanted to gain publicity from his situation. He also accused her of blocking him on social media and ignoring his messages.
Twyse said he decided to speak out now because he was tired of keeping quiet and pretending that everything was fine. He said he still struggles with depression and anxiety, and that he needs justice and closure. He urged his fans to support him and pray for him, as he battles with his mental health issues.
