Perrie Edwards of Little Mix has welcomed her second child with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
A special acknowledgment to Perrie Edwards for raising two children. In a charming social media message, the Little Mix member revealed that her and fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had welcomed their second child, Alanis Valentine.
Perrie wrote "Alanis Valentine" as the caption for the January 17 Instagram photo, along with a pink heart emoji.
The adorable photo shows Alanis curled up on her mother's chest while Perrie, Alex, and their 4-year-old son Axel all put a tender hand on the child's back.

The pair, who became engaged in June 2022, announced in September that they will be expanding their squad. The 32-year-old donned a shirt with the words "If He Wanted To He Would..." on the back in a video posted to Instagram on September 6. Then she turned around to show off her expanding baby belly and the front of her shirt, which said, "...and He Did!"
Shortly after, the 32-year-old professional soccer player joined Axel in the frame and kissed and hugged Perrie. She wrote, "Guess what hunnies..." in the caption.
Less than a month after the "Shout Out to My Ex" hitmaker revealed that she lost her pregnancy a few months after giving birth to Axel in 2021, the couple made their endearing revelation.
“Axel wasn’t even walking yet and we were pregnant,” in August 2025, Perrie stated on the We Need to Talk podcast. “I found out when I was rehearsing for the Little Mix tour. I was at rehearsals and I thought, ‘Oh I don’t feel good.’ Every symptom under the sun so I was like, ‘I think I’m pregnant.’"
Perrie and Alex were thrilled to grow their family after a pregnancy test confirmed her suspicions. However, the X Factor alum began to sense that something was wrong once she and bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall began touring in April 2022.
“Every night before a show, I kept bleeding,” she thought of it. “I remember sitting and thinking, ‘This is it, I’ve lost the baby.’”
The scenario changed when Perrie went in for a scan at the 20-week mark, despite the doctors' continuous assurances that her baby was doing well.
“That was just the worst day of my life, like horrendous,” Perrie remembered that she had previously miscarried before becoming pregnant with Axel. “I just knew something was wrong in the scan."
“I was just traumatized,” she went on to say that she was crying so much that she was unable to even drive home after the appointment. “I think when you’re fully carrying and you’re 24 weeks and you’ve planned out like their room and all these things, it’s really hard.”
