"I announce with a deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didn’t make it. May his soul rest in peace," wrote Mr Rollas in a heartfelt message that echoed the sentiments of fans and colleagues alike.

Battling blood clotting in his leg and enduring several strange illnesses, the actor underwent seven surgeries, including the amputation of one leg.
