Ric Flair Hospitalized After a Fall Hours Following Event Cancellation Over Blood Clot.

After a terrible fall, Ric Flair is recuperating. The veteran professional wrestler gave an update on his health after being admitted to the hospital after falling in Florida on October 23.

“Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers!” on October 23, Flair posted on Instagram. “I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger. Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me!”

The 77-year-old did not reveal more about his injuries, but he posted a selfie seated in a chair wearing an eyepatch. As Flair recovers from the fall, he said he is "focused on my healing and recovery right now."

He went on to say, “I Will Be Okay!”

Flair also made it clear that he wasn't the one uploading old videos from his WWE days to his Facebook page when he was in the hospital.

“And Just So You Know For Those Who Were Asking And Wondering, I Don’t Own My Own Facebook Page Anymore,” he added. “I Apologize For The Reckless Posting Behavior On My Facebook When I Was In The Hospital. It Was Completely Inappropriate!”

However, Flair never shies away from a good joke, even in his darkest hours. His daughter Charlotte Flair, whom he shares with ex-wife Elizabeth Harrell, described his antics while he was receiving medical care.

“Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…,” on October 23, the 40-year-old said on X. “(ps: he’s going to be ok).”

Although Flair, who is also the father of David Flair and Megan Flair with his ex-wife Leslie Goodman and the late son Reid Flair with Harrell, did not disclose the cause of the error, he had earlier disclosed that he had to postpone an appearance in Seattle because of a blood clot in his leg.

“I Want To Sincerely Apologize To My Agent, Steve Solomon , Washington State Horror Con , , And Especially All My Fans In Seattle For Having To Cancel My Scheduled Appearance,” on Instagram, he posted. “Unfortunately, I Am Dealing With A Blood Clot In My Leg, And My Doctors Have Limited My Travel To 3–4 Hours. Seattle Falls Outside That Range, And As Disappointed As I Am, I Have To Put My Health And Recovery First.”

Flair stated that "Blood Clots Are Extremely Serious And Can Be Life-Threatening" and that he was scheduled to have the affected vein "stripped" by medical professionals.

“I Look Forward To Getting Healthy And Seeing You All Down The Road,” he came to a conclusion. “Thank You For The Love And Support.”
