While incarcerated, Sean "Diddy" Combs is managing real estate. As reported by several sources, the rapper's house on Miami's renowned Star Island was sold for $55 million as he serves out his four-year jail time on prostitution-related charges.
The 7,988-square-foot property, which has six bedrooms and eight and a half baths, is located close to Combs' second Miami home, which was seized by federal officials in March 2024 due to claims of racketeering and sexual crimes.
Over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant were seized at the time, along with "various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics," as per to court documents that were made public after Combs was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in sexual activity.
“During Freak Offs, Combs distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant,” a federal charge stated. “Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, Combs kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers.”
Cassie Ventura, Combs' ex-girlfriend, testified in his 2025 trial that she was forced to attend "hundreds" such freak-off parties throughout their intermittent 11-year relationship. She accused the Bad Boy Records tycoon of filming the acts to use as leverage against her.
In the end, Combs was cleared of the accusations of sex trafficking and racketeering but found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act.
The Grammy winner apologized to Ventura, with whom he broke up in 2018, before his sentencing last year for "any harm I have caused her emotionally or physically."
"My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick. I was sick, sick from the drugs, I was out of control, I needed help and I didn't get the help, and I cannot make no excuse," he added. "I am not this larger than life person—I am just a human being, I was trying my best, I got lost in my excess and lost in my ego."
Combs was first given a 50-month prison sentence, but his release date has subsequently been several times accelerated. He is scheduled to be released on February 8, 2028, according to current jail records.
