Sophie Turner recounts a "vile" kiss with her Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington, describing it as "the worst."

Perhaps Sophie Turner discovered something worse than winter. The former Game of Thrones star revealed just how terrible it was to have Kit Harington, who portrayed her adopted brother in the venerable HBO series, play her lover in their new film, The Dreadful.

Sophie recounted on August 14 on Late Night With Seth Meyers, "I sent the script to Kit." “He sent me a message back, going, like, ‘Yeah, I'd love to. This is going to be really f--king weird, Soph.’”

Sophie, who is also a producer on the movie, had to go back through the screenplay even though she had already read it by writer and director Natasha Kermani before she understood what he was talking about.

“I was reading it, and I'm like, ‘Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex,’” she let out. “And then I'm like, ‘Oh, shoot, that's my brother.’”

However, the 29-year-old claims that the two decided to "put it out of our minds" after agreeing that the script was too wonderful to pass up.

“Then we get on set,” Sophie clarified. “It's the first kissing scene, and we are both retching. Like, really, it is vile. It was the worst another really bad moment in my career.”

Sophie claims that filming that scene with Kit was worse than being coated in real-life rats and cockroaches for her new movie Trust. Sophie and her ex-husband Joe Jonas have two daughters, Willa, who is four, and Delphine, who is two.

🎬 Sophie Turner is really back in thriller mode! Her latest film, Trust, hits theaters on August 22, 2025, and the official trailer is already stirring up buzz. The story follows a Hollywood starlet played by Turner who retreats to a remote cabin after a scandal, only to find herself betrayed and fighting for survival against someone she once trusted.

Directed by Carlson Young and written by Gigi Levangie, the film also stars Katey Sagal, Billy Campbell, and Peter Mensah. It's produced by the team behind the Saw franchise, so expect tension, twists, and psychological edge.

Nevertheless, Sophie added that Kit, who is married to their previous GOT co-star Rose Leslie, was the only person she could think of for the part.

It goes without saying that the two became even closer while filming The Dreadful, in which she plays Anne, a woman who lives a tough, lonely life on the outskirts of town with her mother-in-law. However, the return of Jago (Kit), a guy from Anne's past, transforms her life.

The passionate moments she and Kit shared, however, are unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon by the former Sansa Stark. In July, Sophie apologized on Vogue. “It’s really weird for all of us.”
