SMEs, now more than ever, are at risk of Cyber attack. Report from Kaspersky, the number of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) attacks surged by 89 percent to 303,500 attacks in the first four months of 2022 as against 161,000 in the same period of last year.

RDP is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft which provides a user with a graphical interface to connect to another computer over a network connection.

Yet, this mess is not without solution. The Global cyber security firm recommends the following;

Staff should have basic training on cyber security, anti-phishing capabilities should be enabled into servers and mails, and the use of password and device encryption should be the norm. Per BusinessDay
