Surprising that BRICS did not pick Nigeria

Surprising that BRICS did not pick Nigeria: “The choices by the current members — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa — contained a few surprises, the biggest being the addition of Iran, which joined three other Middle Eastern states: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. And if BRICS wanted us, they would have pushed through. The outcome is clear: we’re not in BRICs which to a large extent we would have celebrated if the outcome was different.
