Apple is in talks with Google to potentially integrate the Gemini AI model into an upgraded version of its Siri voice assistant, Bloomberg reported, citing anonymous sources. Google has reportedly begun training a custom Al model that's compatible with Apple’s servers to underpin the enhanced Siri. However, Apple is still “several weeks away” from deciding whether to use its own in-house AI model or to strike a deal with another company for Siri’s AI upgrade, which has been delayed to 2026.
