The earth is no longer as beautiful. In a post on Instagram on August 10, her husband announced the death of Taiwanese beauty influencer Liz Lin Ruoyu, who had over 144,000 followers. They did not disclose the reason of death.
"Liz has always been a girl with a smile, sunshine and love," he started with a statement that was translated. "She was always curious about new things, especially about small animals, with infinite gentleness and care; she always had a unique and fascinating taste, always able to use her vision and creativity to add beauty and inspiration to the world."
Her husband went on to explain that Liz "never saw herself as an 'influencer' but as a friend to everyone," "she always tried her best to respond to every message just because she really cared and really appreciated everyone who supported her."
He continued by saying, "Although Liz has quietly left, the beauty and love she left behind will always be with us," Her verified Instagram account, which contains posts from 2012, will "not be shut down" so that "fans may always remember Liz."
Following Liz's death, other influential people also expressed their respects. On August 10, lifestyle podcaster Nancy Tsai said in a translated Instagram post about their 15-year friendship, "We have so many memories worth smiling together."
In a note to Liz, she said, "I only hope you are now on the next part of the journey, smiling from the heart as you continue on," recalling how they supported one another "through the ups and downs of life."
Liz was a vocalist in addition to being a beauty influencer. In 2022, her single "Mist" was published.
