The Royal Family Issues Rare Public Statement Following Television Stars' Recreation of Meghan Markle's Dance

The royal family had a surprisingly cheeky moment on Instagram! After TV personalities Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo recreated Meghan Markle’s viral “Baby Mama Dance” during a visit to Buckingham Palace, the official royal Instagram account dropped a rare and playful comment: “We see you”—complete with an eye's emoji and a wink.

The couple filmed their version of the dance on the palace’s Grand Staircase during a celebration for The King’s Trust charity. Despite the usual no-filming rule, they captioned their post, “They said we couldn’t film in Buckingham Palace,” adding to the lighthearted rebellion.

The charity founded by King Charles also hinted that "all of our attendees are quite well-behaved," so it was not the only royal account to voice their opinions.

This all came just weeks after Meghan shared her own throwback video dancing while pregnant with Princess Lilibet, which quickly went viral and was part of a sweet tribute for her daughter’s 4th birthday with her husband, Prince Harry. This royally adorable video follows that post.

“Four years ago today, this also happened,” on June 4, the Suits alumnus, who also has a 6-year-old son named Archie, gushed on Instagram. “Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do!”

Meghan gave Lilibet a glimpse of motherhood on her fourth birthday, but it was not the only one. In fact, in a different post, she shared a cute picture of herself cuddling with her child on a boat journey.

“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl,” she stated. “Four years ago, today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”

Being a mother has brought a greater joy to the As Ever founder than her fruit jams, and she always puts motherhood first.

"I know that they'll feel like, 'Oh, my gosh, no one has ever loved someone more than the way our mom loved us,'" in April, she stated this on The Jamie Kern Lima Show. "I put that in practice. That's part of every day of how I show up for them."

"That's the best part about being a mom," she clarified. "It's not about the grandeur of a gesture. It's about, 'I see you. I'm nurturing and I see you so deeply and I love being able to see your growth.' I'm just so proud of them."

It’s not every day the Firm gets playful on social media—what do you think of their unexpected sense of humor?
