Tina Knowles shares the story of where Beyoncé’s sister Solange was conceived.

For Tina Knowles, Solange Knowles' most recent hairstyle change was a complete circle. Her mother couldn't resist pointing out the link between the Grammy winner's new hairstyle and the location of her conception shortly after she flaunted her newly buzzed head on Instagram.

“You look like a beautiful Egyptian Goddess,” in an Instagram post on April 21, Tina included multiple images of her daughter's well-defined buzz cut. “Which is very appropriate since you were conceived on a cruise sailing down the Nile in Egypt.”

Tina, who shares Beyoncé, 44, and Solange, 39, with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles, wrote, "I always said you could shave your head and wear a garbage bag and still look gorgeous," praising her younger daughter's self-assurance.

“Well, ‘Viola’!!!! You turn everything into Art,” she continued. “I love your boldness!”

In response, Solange wrote, "Thank you, mother, for being my divine north star," in the comments area.

In fact, even before Solange and Beyoncé were extremely famous, Tina had a significant impact on her life. The 72-year-old has been an ardent supporter of both of her daughters during their significant successes and challenges, such as breakups, adultery, and miscarriages.

The daughters have also supported their mother during her own highs and lows, especially during her battle with breast cancer and her turbulent relationship with their father, which resulted in their divorce in 2011.

However, the intimate bond between the three shouldn't be shocking. After all, Solange has already spoken up about how their mother paved the path for them to become independent.

“As far back as I can remember, our mother always taught us to be in control of our voice and our bodies and our work,” in a 2017 joint interview with Beyoncé for Interview Magazine, the Bring It On: All or Nothing actress stated. “She showed us that through her example.”

In addition, Solange described how her older sister served as a mentor to her, particularly in relation to their respective jobs in entertainment.

"It's something I've learned so much about from you, getting to be in control of your own narrative,” during the interview, she informed Beyoncé. “At this point, it should be an expectation, not something that you're asking permission for. I feel like I'm getting closer to that, not taking on all the baggage when I have to just stand up for myself and say, 'No, I'm uncomfortable with that.'”

“And I really appreciate you and mom being examples of that,” the “Cranes in the Sky” singer added, “being able to speak about our achievements, these things that deserve to be celebrated, without feeling bashful about it.”

In the end, Solange declared that Beyoncé was the greatest of the best and that she could not have wished for anything more.

"You did a kickass job," she stated. "You were the most patient, loving, wonderful sister ever.”
