Tom Hardy Makes Rap Debut Under Frankie Pulitzer Name.
The alter personality of Tom Hardy emerges. The MobLand star stunned fans on August 28 when he released Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, his debut rap album under the stage name Frankie Pulitzer, in partnership with hip-hop duo Czarface, demonstrating his versatility.
Rap icons Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P are featured on the 15-song record, which also offers pop culture-focused lyrics on Hardy's more well-known passion—film.
In fact, the album includes lyrics regarding both Martin Scorsese's 1999 film Bringing Out the Dead in "Raw Forever" and his co-star Willem Dafoe from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In the meantime, Stephen King's works are referenced in the song "Mad Technology."
Hardy's passion for the arts is also evident in "Gnawing at My Rhyme Like a Poisonous Rat," when he raps, "You act amused like [Leonardo] DiCaprio scratching his pencils to capture your figure," referencing Titanic's famous line, "draw me like one of your French girls."
A particularly sentimental scene from Hardy's work is also included in the project, as he performs William Shakespeare's "Richard III" for his song "Grim-Visaged War" in the voice he used to play Bane in his 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises.
Hardy's passion for rap is undoubtedly not new, even though the album represents his professional debut.
Falling on Your Arse, Hardy's 1999 rap mixtape, was published in 2018 by former music producer Edward Tracy. Under the names Eddie Too Tall and Tommy No. 1, Hardy's previous alias, Tracy posted the songs to BandCamp.
Even though the 48-year-old has gained recognition for his roles in movies like Locke and Mad Max: Fury Road, he recently revealed details about his early love of rapping.
"I started out rapping when I was 14 or 15,” in 2011, Hardy informed the BBC. "Because I come from a nice middle-class neighborhood it was a very hard sell. And I wasn't very good!"
At that point in time, he said, “I've recorded loads of stuff, but it's never been released."
However, it appears that Hardy has simply been waiting for the ideal moment to present his works to the public.
"I've got albums, man,” he added. “My best friend Peanut, he grew up in the south Bronx. He's a very good MC and we still play. It'll come out in a film one day, it'll come out in a character somewhere.”
