Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian marked Penelope Disick's milestone 13th birthday with heartfelt tributes on Instagram.
Travis Barker just gave fans a heartwarming peek into his relationship with stepdaughter Penelope Disick as she turned 13 on July 8, 2012🎉. The Blink-182 drummer shared a sweet photo on Instagram of himself lifting Penelope up by her legs so she could place a sticker on a "one way" sign, captioned simply, “Happy birthday P” with a birthday emoji.
Kourtney Kardashian, Penelope’s mom, also marked the milestone with a sentimental tribute and a balloon-filled hotel room in Lake Como, Italy. She wrote, “My heart is exploding with gratitude and love for her,” and called Penelope her daily inspiration. Kourtney and her ex-husband Scott Disick have three children together: Penelope, Mason, 15, and Reign, 10.
"My daughter is 13 today," the 46-year-old captioned a picture of pink and white balloons scattered on a hotel room floor on her Instagram Stories on July 9.

Additionally, Kourtney released a video for her vitamin business Lemme while "a little jet weary" in the car, giving some insight into their interaction even though she did not share any new pictures of Penelope.
When her daughter was heard off-camera requesting that she "restart" the video after she fumbled over her words in the clip's opening, Kourtney giggled and responded, "No, I am not going to restart I am just gonna do it."
As her granddaughter approached adolescence, Kris also paid tribute to her as she considered the person she had grown into.
"My beautiful granddaughter Penelope is officially a teenager,” along with other images of herself, Kourtney, and the birthday girl over the years, Kris posted a message on Instagram on July 8. "I can't believe you're 13 today!"
Even Kris Jenner joined in, calling Penelope “smart, strong, confident, kind, fun, and amazing” in her own Instagram post. It’s clear this teen is surrounded by a lot of love—and some serious style genes too.
“P you are such a smart, strong, confident, kind, fun, and amazing girl,” the sixty-nine-year-old went on. “You’re the best daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, cousin, and niece, and you make all of us so proud every single day.
