Why Are Nigerian Men Going for Trump?
They have been coming, from former school mates, colleagues in the bank, and associates in Nigeria: please vote for Trump. [Of course, many have also lobbied that the vote goes to Biden]. Honestly, I am flummoxed on why some Nigerians are campaigning for Trump. Can somebody explain to me what is happening in Nigeria why Trump seems to be popular in the land.
As always, who wins the US Presidency will change nothing in Nigeria; only Nigerians will fix and cast out their economic and moral paralyses. Yet, why are MEN, mostly, supporting Mr. Trump, in Nigeria? You can make the same point for Biden also.
Except - sure - that Nigerians are conservatives when it comes to abortion and gay rights, do we have other things moving the needle? How is Nigeria benefitting from the present U.S. government?
