Why Tom Brady Isn’t Focusing on His Personal Life After Alix Earle’s New Year’s Eve Outing.

Tom Brady is staying focused on the game. The seven-time Super Bowl champion clarified that his work schedule is too heavy to permit excessive play two weeks after spending New Year's Eve in St. Barth's with Alix Earle.

"You know what? I don't have much time for a personal life or much time for myself,” in a January 14 interview, Tom informed People, “but I love working and I love my kids."

The 48-year-old continued, "I like to be busy and try to really stay fulfilled in the things I'm doing, so I'm working on some really cool projects, and I'm involved with some great teams of people that are doing some really positive things."

The former New England Patriots quarterback is committed to his children, Jack, 18, with ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, and Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, in addition to his heavy workload.

"Then obviously, my little babies at home," Tom went on, then corrected himself. "No, they're not babies anymore."

"My oldest is 18," he continued. "But seeing him thrive and grow, and there's nothing greater for a parent when you're seeing your kids do well."

What about Benjamin? He's "doing great as a sophomore," whereas Tom’s "little baby girl in seventh grade” is “a little kick-ass volleyball player."

Finally, he said, "I'm so blessed in so many parts of my life."

Despite his hectic work schedule, Tom found time to celebrate the new year in St. Barth's. Videos that People and TMZ were able to obtain showed him dancing with Alix, who announced last month that she had broken up with NFL player Braxton Berrios.

In one video, the Dancing With the Stars contestant whispered in the football legend's ear before leaning in to give him a back rub.

However, Tom's comments on the previous year were shared that same day, which helped "put things into perspective."

“Growth doesn’t really happen unless you’re willing to challenge yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally,” on December 31, he posted on Instagram. “That’s something I try to live by and keep coming back to as I learn more with each passing year.”

“I’m so grateful for my loving and supportive family,” he added, “and for meaningful career with people I care deeply about and for all the time spent showing up for both.”
