Worldpay Moves from $10.4B to $43 Billion Within 15 Months
Quote from Ndubuisi Ekekwe on March 18, 2019, 9:27 AMWorldpay is being bought again. The digital payments company, which was spun out of Royal Bank of Scotland, was bought in Jan 2018 for $10.4 billion by Vantiv. Now, Vantiv (since renamed Worldpay) is selling it to FIS (Fidelity National Information Services) for $43 billion.
Yet, this deal pales to South Africa's Naspers which flipped $34 million for $170 billion via Tencent.
