Commissioning of 500-seater Ganduje auditorium billed to be commissioned by the APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on 7 February 2023 has been postponed due to security reason.

The 250 million Naira auditorium and lecture theatre built by the Kano state Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and donated to the faculty of Basic medical sciences was planned to be unveiled on Tuesday February 7 2023 by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu but has been postponed due to what the organizers described as security reasons.

Announcing the postponement, the chairman of the University of Ibadan Alumni (UIAA), Prof. Saawua Nyityo disclosed that the security report in Oyo state was unfavourable, hence the postponement.
