Kenyan Infoyote Is A Content Service Provider – Directory, Forum and Library Simplified

Infoyote is a web-based Content Service Provider (CSP) incorporated in Kenya, East Africa.  The Company deploys a unique Web Portal to serve as an all-inclusive (“Yote”) catalogue of online content (“Information”).
The Portal has three main sections: Directory, Forum and Library Sections.

Fundamentally, the idea behind the Portal is based on the following Thesis Statement: People experience problems or miss opportunities unnecessarily due to insufficient, incoherent or incorrect information at their disposal for whatever they are doing or intending to do, hence, real-world problem-solving and opportunities-creation is enhanced by improving the quality of information at hand.

This thesis is supported by various references such as:

  • “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” Prophet Hosea
  • “A market is the combined behaviour of thousands of people responding to information, misinformation and whim.” Kenneth Chang
  • “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Benjamin Franklin
  • “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Albert Einstein

The Portal, therefore, is designed to provide high quality information as: affordable; accessible; synergetic; relevant; user-driven; on-demand; comparative; unified; structured; simplified; semantically integrated; co-related; interactive; comprehensive; reliable; verifiable; and updated.

The Portal was established after 6 years (2002-2007) of Research and Development and 2 years (mid 2008-2010) of Software Engineering, Business Planning and various Pilot Runs by the Founder.
