How long will a police man take to respond to a crime just reported in a very remote place. Only the local people have the information and can send the information to all around by MMS that can be displayed on a local public alert system. For accident and trafffic jams around cities as well as major advertising event how do we get there..Every alert should appear with its source location on Google Map.This can be an all round system and very useful in emergencies.

The idea is a platform that features a website, facebook fan page, twitter account and sms gateway.

It is supported by advertisers and is beneficial to active users in that it highlights various issues important to them, as well as potentially winning prizes and/or 11min of fame.
It encourages users to have interact with their friends on facebook as well as keeping the platforms facebook and twitter pages very active.
The basic requirment is a sms capable phone.

Is it possible for someone wishing to tour a certain place specified or otherwise, be able to to get all the information he/she needs, choose the desired place, arrange for appropriate means of travel, hotel etc all from a phone or a computer? A tourist also posting pics, videos and journals of the trip?Members of the site commenting on the stories and pics available……….? Wait for it!

 

Harambee

Harambee is a swahili word for coming together for a common purpose. This platform seeks to help Kenyans come together to crowd source funds for the different projects or needs they have to fulfill. Weather it is raising school fees, or planing to improve the local health facility.

Today the mobile is like a PC. Think about it, it really is more like a Server PC if there is such a term!. Just ask your yourself, what other computer is always on 24/7…if you thought of a server, you get my point. If you are like me, a day with your phone off feels like being thrown to the stone age. Infact you probably leave yours overnight just in case you recieve an overseas call or simply as a radio or alarm clock. I therefore challenge you to turn your mobile phone into a server!!
