Good People, we’re working at elevating Tekedia Institute to a full university. After the voting in LinkedIn, we are going with Tekedia Atlantic University (TAU). TAU will serve the world with a vision “to discover and make scholars noble, bright and useful”. “Tekedia” represents the new world, anchored on the promises of tomorrow. “Atlantic” connects the nativity of Africa’s deep knowledge wealth – like the oceans, knowledge will abound in this university, to inspire and advance people, communities and nations.
Our aspiration is that TAU will prepare scholars to cushion the RISE Of ALL, and not just a few, with dignity, honour and service, where unconstrained individual excellence will unleash unbounded opportunities and abundance in communities.
It will be a hybrid university in our licensing structure. There will be a physical campus but with a big online component. Our vision is to have a “farm” where startups will make homes just as MIT does in America. When I worked in Analog Devices in the Boston area, I was inspired that the company was situated inside a university (MIT). I was the global lead ASIC designer and engineered a generation-accelerometer used in the iPhone. When I moved to Carnegie Mellon University, I was inspired that Uber, etc literally have offices within the university. TAU will mirror those models; companies will live in our campus.

Good People, we are planning Phase 2 of our school. And I want to reach out to our community as we begin the playbook. Between these two names, which one would you prefer to have on your certificate:
- #1 Tekedia University
- #2 First Atlantic University
- # Tekedia Atlantic University
In other words, what sounds great to reflect the nativity of a school that would become a temple for the mastery of Africa’s entrepreneurial capitalism, technical know-how, scientific excellence, etc under a vision: “to discover and make scholars noble, bright, and useful”.

How can ordinary citizens support this venture
I can support by volunteering my Public Health Safety Skills to startups businesses to find the educational cost of running TAU.
For online programs, startups around the world that has online project,data projects and branches can take up students workers to recoup costn9f education with labour exchange services if they can’t all be physically present for studies.
I want Environmental Health Studies programs which it’s curriculum will he developed to.provude skills that prepared us for development amidst environmentally dynamic global environment,climate challenges and human adaptation strategies to climate,social,environmental and energy challenges.
I am with Tekedia University because of this model you have unveiled today. I got thoughts of this when I came to the US and saw the relationship between the business school and all the big industries and businesses in the city. I will invest in Tekedia University with whatever I have as a matter of principle. It’s a cause I will like to support.
Our education system excludes many talented individuals because they do not have the means. There are many who will be willing to work and school but such works are not available. Our students will be able to responsibly see themselves through school with their shoulders up no matter their background. The benefits of this model are legion.
I am a a math and finance enthusiast having degrees in Actuarial Science and Mathematics and also completing the CFA L3 exam.
What can I offer to such an institution? How much will I need to have before I begin this encounter?
I also will want to offer free service in entry level in a financial analyst role or a quant.

My name is Ahmed Ahmadu Umar (Vokna) having a degrees in Architecture from Nigeria.
What can I offer to such an institution? How much will I need to have before I begin this encounter to Join Masters in Architecture?
Prof., TAU is the best match for this venture.
Meanwhile, I am working on bringing in a robust emergency system to Nigeria and to Africa at larger where issues of fire, flood, accidents, etc will be showcased and rescue plans designed from the grassroot through students of different faculties.
Tekedia Atlantic University would be a better vehicle to carry this awareness to our people.
Can you also start by bringing in HND-BSc. conversion programme for most of us in Nigeria who are still battling with the academic maginalization where HND is still seen globally as nothing close to BSc.

I am an Engineer with a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management. I have successfully managed several projects in the oil and gas industry. I will be willing to offer my expertise in Project Management as I have got hands-on experience with projects. The TAU should offer Project Management and Strategic Management because these are skills needed for development and management.
