A wallet tracker watches a crypto address and alerts you after it trades, while a copy trade places the same buy for you at your own size. Banana Gun turns a tracked Solana or Robinhood Chain wallet into a copy trade with your size and your exit.
Tracking is the cheap part: four tools below document a free tier, with limits quoted from their own pages.
The harder part is picking a wallet worth your money and knowing what happens between the alert and your order on a Telegram trading bot.
Once you have picked one, how two Solana bots compare on copy trading shows how two Solana bots handle copying, limit orders and chains.
What does a wallet tracker do?
A wallet tracker reads one public address and shows what it holds and what it traded. An explorer gives the raw view.
Per Solscan docs (read 27 Oct 2026), a wallet page lists SOL and SPL token balances plus a Transactions tab with signature, time and fee.
Solscan’s watchlist adds a Tx Tracking field per saved address, which you set to None, All, In or Out transactions.
Solana Tracker’s wallet page needs no login. Per its site on 27 Oct 2026, you paste any Solana address and get holdings, realized and unrealized PnL and 2 years of history.
If you want the basics of reading an address first, the Banana Gun blog has a guide on how to track a wallet on-chain.
Which wallet trackers have free plans?
Four tools document a free tier. These are the limits from their own pages, read 27 Oct 2026:
- Nansen: the Free plan includes wallet tracking, watchlists of 10 wallets and 10 tokens, and full Solana analytics, per its plans page.
- Cielo: the free plan follows 50 Solana wallets and 250 EVM wallets, per its landing page.
- Arkham: explorer pages stay free, plus a limited number of email and Telegram alerts, per its FAQ.
- GMGN: the website follows up to 100 wallets and the /add command in its Telegram alert bot up to 10, per its docs.
GMGN’s /set command lets the alert bot send all trades, only buys or only sells. Cielo’s page footer reads 2025, so confirm its limits in the app before you rely on them.
How do you tell a good wallet from a lucky one?
A wallet worth copying shows positive 30-day realized profit and a buy count you can afford to mirror. On GMGN on 27 Oct 2026, point farm capital shows -$271,630 realized over 30 days and -$20,617 over 7 days.
Its Fomo profile shows 310K followers and $10M all-time PnL (Fomo, via Fomo Wallet Finder, 30 Sep 2026). That all-time figure was read almost four weeks before the GMGN pull above.
The same GMGN pull shows 5,659 buys and 1,247 sells in 30 days, with $972,348 bought and $784,269 sold. Realized profit counts closed sells only, so positions still open do not appear in that figure.
The 30-day number also moves. The same wallet read -$1,163,571 on 20 Oct 2026 and -$303,240 on 8 Oct (GMGN).
Copy a wallet like that and you mirror thousands of buys, each landing after the original. A famous address can still cost you money.
Why is an alert not enough?
An alert arrives after the trade. You then open a chart, decide, type an amount and place the order by hand, with the price already moved.
GMGN’s own alert docs (read 27 Oct 2026) add a second gap: Telegram rate limits can drop messages, and the docs say GMGN cannot solve the problem of message push being limited. A dropped alert is a trade you never saw.
A copy trade also lands after the wallet, so it fixes neither the lag nor the choice of wallet. What changes is that your size, filters and exit are set before the trade happens.
How to turn a tracked wallet into a copy trade on a Telegram trading bot
First you need the address. A Fomo profile shows followers, trades and PnL but not the wallet.
Fomo Wallet Finder (fomowalletfinder.com, third-party, checked 21 Oct 2026) returns the verified Solana and EVM addresses from a profile link, free, with 2 new lookups a day. At that limit, checking ten leaders takes five days.
In Banana Gun, open Copy Trading in the start menu or send /copytrade, then tap New Copy Trade. Paste the target address, add a description such as Fomo frank, select your wallets and toggle Inactive to Active.
Four settings shape each copied buy, per the Banana Gun Solana docs:
- Buy Fixed puts in the same SOL amount on every copied buy.
- Max Buy caps a single buy.
- Max Market Cap skips tokens above your ceiling.
- Spending Limit caps the total per wallet, and trades above it fail.
Copy Sells on means you sell when the target sells. Setup Limit Order lets you set your own exit instead. On Robinhood Chain the same flow runs in the bot (Banana Gun blog, 10 Aug 2026), and gas there is ETH.
Banana Gun Pro, the web terminal, lists wallet tracking if you prefer a browser to the Telegram trading bot.
The Banana Gun Solana docs warn that some target wallets buy pump-and-dumps or honeypots and use copy traders as exit liquidity, so review a wallet’s recent trades in a scanner first.
