Egoras LPG Generator – yes, to be powered by Cooking Gas [Video]

I shared the engineering ergonomics design here a few days ago. I am happy to share how the actual cooking gas generator looks, from the R&D team (updated version which is undergoing certification with the regulators). I am also happy to note that the Nigerian government, through a delegation, will visit the factory next week. The generator works with cooking gas which we have in abundance in Nigeria. I shared a picture of a big factory a few months ago; that factory will employ hundreds of  engineers and technicians in the next coming quarters.

Egoras is one of the startups raising funds in the current investment cycle of Tekedia Capital. We have put so much effort into getting it to this level where we can present it to come to our Syndicate. It is one of the things which make Tekedia Capital unique: we identify, mentor, coach and prepare remarkable innovators and startups – and then get them to raise funds from our members. Ugoji Harry is amazing. The other 6 startups are just as remarkable. This is our mission here.

Fellow citizens: would you like Egoras car in ten years? Nigeria has all the talent; we just have to inspire young men and women. We got them together at Egoras to repair broken generators. Over time, they have confidence to make (partial) new ones. Same can happen for cars; that deep engineering leadership will be given to them. You can see the final design here
