Braxton Berrios has returned to the game. The Houston Texans wide receiver made a comeback to social media five days after it was revealed that he and Alix Earle had split up, seemingly in response to the controversy surrounding their breakup.
Braxton posted images of his stylish pre-game entrance attire from the NFL season to Instagram on December 11, along with the message, "What did I miss?"
Many individuals responded to the 30-year-old with sly comments, leaning into the lighthearted tone of the article. One person said, "Every single one of Alix's shows..."

Since the NFL athlete didn't show up for any of the season 34 tapings, rumors of Alix and Braxton's separation did circulate during her stint on Dancing With the Stars earlier this year. However, she continually blamed his absence on his football commitments.
After the November season finale, in which Alix and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished second behind winners Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, the host of the Hot Mess podcast caused even more worry about trouble in paradise by choosing to remain in Los Angeles rather than travel to watch Braxton play in any football games.
Alix shared a glimpse into her post-breakup thoughts after their split was revealed by several media outlets, saying that she has been reflecting on her own actions.
“Is my frontal lobe developing,” on December 10, she posted a TikTok video of herself lying in bed with the remark, “bc I’m about to turn 25 and usually stress abt having the biggest party but all I want to do is workout, meditate, play card games & have good convos with the ppl closest to me.”
The 24-year-old continued, “Either I’m maturing or just rlly going thru it…maybe both.”
Although some fans may find Alix and Braxton's split devastating, they are not the only famous couple to part ways this year.
