Today, I made a video presentation to explain Digital Strategy. I used this image to explain Digital Strategy. For me any (consumer-facing) digital strategy without a platform is not a strategy. In this image, the tree is a platform which has enabled many people to come together and co-discuss. Sometimes, aggregation enables platforms must but aggregation is not always a requirement. Without platforms, consumer businesses cannot run efficient digital strategies. Why?  With platforms, you have CUSTOMERS; products deliver consumers. That is the duality element I have discussed before.
