Bettina Anderson and Donald Trump Jr. are moving forward. At a holiday celebration at the White House on December 15, President Donald Trump revealed the engagement of his oldest son. Donald Jr. himself revealed details about his upcoming chapter in a video that was sent to X.
“It’s not often that I’m at a loss for words, 'cause we usually do the ranting and raving really well,” the 47-year-old informed the audience. “But this is a little different. But I just want to wish you guys an incredible holiday season, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.”
"And to thank Bettina for that one word, 'yes,'" Donald Jr. continued, acknowledging his now-fiance, who was dressed in a glittering red dress for the event.

Before giving the floor to Bettina, Donald Jr. added that his engagement is a "big win for the end of the year."
“This has really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life,” the 39-year-old stated. “And I get to marry the love of my life. And I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
While celebrating Bettina's birthday in Palm Beach, Florida, in December, Donald Jr. and Bettina made their romance public. The couple also went to his father's inauguration ceremonies the next month.
Donald Jr. was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle before he started dating Bettina. (He and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump also have children, Kai, 18, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11).
In March, Vanessa confirmed her connection with golf great Tiger Woods, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her personal life.
Tiffany Trump, Donald Jr.'s younger sister, gave birth to her and husband Michael Boulos' son Alexander earlier this year, so he's not the only one ending the year with major news.
