There are charges against Elijah Blue Allman. Based on several publications, the son of Cher and the late Greg Allman was taken into custody on February 27 in Concord, New Hampshire, following an alleged altercation at a nearby boarding school.
According to the sources, the Concord Police Department stated that police were called to St. Paul's School in response to an allegation of an uninvited visitor who was making trouble and acting aggressively. The visitor was identified as Elijah.
The reports stated that the 49-year-old was processed and released on personal recognizance with a future arraignment date after being charged with criminal trespass, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct, and two charges of simple assault.
The Concord Police Department and Cher's representative have been contacted by news organizations for comment, but they have not received a response.
Elijah's legal troubles aside, the lead singer of Deadsy was admitted to the hospital in June after police were summoned to a Landers, California, home where a guy was "acting erratically."
“When deputies arrived, Elijah Allman, 48, was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel,” at that moment, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department informed media outlets in a statement. “Deputies located drugs inside the home and Allman was transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.”
Marieangela King Allman, Elijah's former wife, publicly defended her ex, whom she had married in 2013.
“While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves,” in a statement to People, she stated. “Like many, he continues to confront his inner struggles—but it is important to recognize that he does so from a place of strength, not defeat.”
“I want to state, without hesitation, that I will always root for him,” Marieangela, who divorced in April, went on. “My support is steadfast and comes from a place of deep respect for the person he is and the resilience he continues to show.”
