Khloe Kardashian fires back at Lamar Odom after he alleges, he only married her to boost his fame

Khloe Kardashian is no more withholding back. Khloe criticized her ex-husband over the Netflix documentary after Lamar Odom denied remarks made by the Kardashians appear in Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.

“You’re sitting on camera saying you married me for fame,” on the April 15 episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, Khloe spoke about Lamar. “I saw some TikTok that was like, ‘Wait, am I such a fool? Because I thought they really loved each other, didn’t they?’ And the person was like, ‘Did anyone else feel that way?’”

Khloe confirmed that she had felt the same way about their seven-year marriage by raising her hand in response.

“You, your friends, you guys are all saying how you were with me just for fame,” she added. “That’s like some f--ked up s--t. I feel so dumb, I spent hours and time doing this documentary as a favor. I’m not paid one penny.”

In fact, Khloe, who was accompanied by BFF to her friend Malika Haqq, acknowledged in the podcast session that she was hesitant to accept the project because she wanted to make sure it would present Lamar in a favorable manner.

“I wanted to make sure it was handled in the best way,” she told the story. “I said, ‘I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don't really want to go down this road if it's negative. He's been through enough negative s--t. Let's turn the tune here.’”

Khloe said that she was not involved in the post-production phase of the documentary because she is not a producer.

“What is so annoying to me,” she uttered, “number one, do people think I just like talking about this all day long? No, it's traumatic. I have to relive things. I have to talk about things that weren't fun in my life, right? So, I'm like, no, I don't just feel like doing this.”

In the days after the documentary's premiere, Khloe voiced her annoyance at some of the accusations Lamar made, such as that she overstated her part in saving his life after his near-fatal overdose in 2015.

“I think what's pissing me off is we did this, all good, I was done with this,” she stated. “I'm like I'm never going to do another Lamar thing again because I'm all good. It's finished. But now Lamar is doing press, annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I'm a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn't the one that helped him.”

She went on to say, “I don't even need you to sing my praises. But you're not now going to s--t on me or now play in my face because you don't like the reaction and the response from the ‘public.’”

On April 15, a person close to Lamar told news organizations that he made press interviews for the project. “Because it was part of his agreement, not because he enjoys revisiting deeply personal chapters of his life.”

“For years, he’s been consistent in acknowledging Khloé’s support during one of the hardest periods he’s faced,” the statement went on. “He has said repeatedly that she showed up for him, took care of him, and played a meaningful role in his recovery.”
