Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker leave Special Forces following a severe injury.
Quote from Oladosun Joshua Segun on October 31, 2025, 11:35 AM
One ride-or-die pair is Eric and Jessie James Decker. After being hurt in a harsh physical workout during the Oct. 30 episode of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season four, the country music diva remained by her husband's side as he left the show.
The surviving ten celebrities faced their most difficult job to date on day six of the Fox competition series: "Murder Ball," a tough military exercise that tested the recruits' guts and resolve by having them physically fight each other over a ball in a mud pit. And Eric, who left the NFL in 2018, was eager to push his physical limits.
As Jessie pointed out in the 38-year-old's confession, "Eric hasn't had this kind of physical challenge since he's played football. I want him to have that time again."
However, he gave it his best in multiple rounds against his costars, Randall Cobb, Andrew East, Mark Estes, and Kody Brown. By the time the grueling exercise was over, Eric had hurt his back.
After noting he "popped" something, the weary father of four could hardly make it back to basecamp on foot.
Eric, who suffered from excruciating back spasms, vowed to stay in the competition despite the discomfort.
"I'm gonna push myself 'til exhaustion," in a confessional, he stated. "My attitude and determination, I feel like, will push me through. I know it's going to be difficult. I'm gonna do it until my body says 'no.'"
Regretfully, a visit to Dr. Andy Brown of Special Forces verified that his body had finally had enough.
As Eric was informed by the physician, "I'm concerned we can't inflict any more punishment on your hip. I don't think that we can really safely let you carry on."
Day six saw Eric's medical withdrawal, but not before he made the statement, "I do not consider myself a quitter."
He told his wife, and without hesitation, Jessie said, "I am going with you."
In order to help her ailing husband back home, the singer voluntarily withdrew.
Holding hands, they left the camp together, and Jessie affectionately exclaimed, "We ride together, we fly together."
However, it was not just Eric and Jessie that quit the show. See who else left on day six and which eight celebrities are still vying for a spot at the end of training by reading on.
