Grimes Drops Shocking Revelation About Her and Elon Musk’s Children.
Quote from Oladosun Joshua Segun on January 24, 2026, 8:28 AM
Being a parent sometimes requires winging it. That may be taken literally in the instance of Grimes and Elon Musk.
After all, the singer recently disclosed that one of their children "inexplicably commanded a flock of crows for while." She and the Tesla CEO are parents to three children: Techno "Tau" Mechanicus, 3, Exa Dark Siderael, 4, and X Ψ A-Xii, 5.
"I try to never talk abt or show my kids because they deserve the right to anonymity, but I just have to say their pure aura is unmatched," on January 22, Grimes posted on X (previously Twitter). "Might be biased but this seems unusual."
She continued, "What's hilarious is my dad also has an allegiant flock of crows."
Aside from the unbelievable familial trait, Grimes (full name Claire Boucher) has had similar parenting challenges. She and Elon, 54, have a "huge debate" about how much screen time to give their children, according to the 37-year-old.
"The other parent is fine w it," Grimes disclose, "but it's fairly avoided."
She went on to say that whenever feasible, she wants her children to watch "slower stuff" like Studio Ghibli movies.
"If it happens, we focus on great art," the musician clarified, "that isn't constantly changing context."
Grimes, on the other hand, is far stricter about her kids' privacy. She actually begged Elon, with whom she dated for three years before to their breakup in 2021, on multiple occasions to keep their children out of the public eye.
"I have tried begging the public and my kid's dad to keep them offline, and I've tried legal recourse," in March, she posted on X. "The state of my children's lives being public is of grave concern to me and I think about how to solve this every day. It's insane to me that there's no way to deal with this."
