Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster made their first red carpet appearance as a couple, nine months after announcing their relationship.
Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman are moving their romance further. On October 26, during AFI FEST in Hollywood, the Music Man alumni made a red-carpet appearance at the Song Sung Blue premiere.
Sutton, 50, coordinated in a stylish black slip dress, while Hugh, 57, looked sharp in a black suit for the occasion. Posing with their arms around one other, the couple who announced their courtship in January displayed subtle PDA as they grinned for the camera.
Only a few days prior, on October 20, Hugh and Sutton went out hand in hand for a date night at the Fetch Pet Gala in New York. During their rare public appearance, the Younger alumnus and the Deadpool & Wolverine star wore similar black costumes.

Longtime friends Hugh and Sutton acknowledged in January that they had taken their relationship to the next level after displaying PDA at a Santa Monica dinner. The romance between Sutton and Hugh coincided with upheavals in their personal lives; in October 2024, Sutton and Ted Griffin, who had a daughter named Emily, age 8, called it quits on their ten-year marriage.
Hugh and his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, who have two children together, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 20, announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. In June, they finalized their divorce.
Additionally, Sutton had the backing of her lifelong buddy and had already discussed working with him despite the changes in their private lives as well.
“He has an impeccable reputation of being the hardest working man, incredibly kind, and generous—and all of that is true,” in 2022, Sutton gushed about Hugh to Vogue. “He's now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise, because you usually go into these things thinking, ‘Well, I hope we get along.’”
