A great vision by Kenya’s president. Without the ECOWAS-free Visa policy for member states, Benin Republic and some other ECOWAS countries will not be where they are. And the most fascinating thing is this: easy movement of citizens benefits both the small and big. When Nigeria closed its land borders, it punished those countries, but it also caused problems for itself; we’re yet to recover from that own-goal decision. 

I join Kenya to demand #NoVisa among AU countries. Nonetheless, we need to improve our security architecture to ensure we protect citizens and properties. Part of that means using approved entry points with AU-level passports, post convergence of regional blocs.
