Jennifer Lopez is celebrating her children's most recent accomplishment. In celebration of the twins' 18th birthday, the singer of "All I Have" wrote an emotional letter to her twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. In the letter, she reflected on how parenting improved her life.

“When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above,” along with a video that included highlights from the twins' early years, she stated in a post on Instagram on February 22. “My life was changed forever. I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old!”
The 56-year-old described her strong relationship with Max and Emme as "kind-hearted, generous, and loving."
“It has always been the three of us,” she added. “We have been on this journey together. We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how big you get, that’s how it will always be.”
Jennifer sent a heartfelt letter to each of her children as they enter maturity to wrap up her post.
“Always remember, Lulu, you are my sunshine…and Max, you’re amazing just the way you are!!” she revealed. “Happy 18th Birthday, my wonder twins!!!”
Although Max and Emme have supported Jennifer during several of her most significant professional moments, the Maid in Manhattan actress recently acknowledged that her work and motherhood are very different.
“It's funny, my kids are not very involved with mom's work,” in December, she conducted a private conversation with media outlets. “They're like, ‘Work, come home, be home for dinner.’ That's more what they're concerned about.”
Jennifer also stated that she is "excited" about what the sibling duo has ahead of them as they start their new stage of life.
“I remember what it was like at 17, 18 years old, waiting for my life to begin,” in October, she gave an explanation to the press. “I feel that for my children. They have the world at their feet.”
