Jessica Simpson explains the true significance of the holiday season for her. The singer of "With You" did, in fact, share a glimpse of her holiday preparations with her and her estranged husband Eric Johnson's three children, Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6. With a rare photo shoot, the three assisted their mother in starting the holiday season.
“Christmas time is here!,” the 45-year-old wrote a message for an Instagram picture of Ace, Birdie, and Max posing in front of Christmas décor on December 4. “What the month of December brings to my kiddos has always been about the genuine feelings of love, excitement, hope, happiness, grace and pure JOY!”
She continued, “Wishin’ you and yours all the many blessings this month has to offer y’all’s hearts.”
As Ace and Max put their arms around Birdie's head and she smiled sweetly, Jessica's children displayed their individuality. A week after she revealed how her family celebrated Thanksgiving; Simpson-Johnson released the most recent family photo.
The "Irresistible" singer really mentioned that there was a spot at the table for Eric at her mother's house, even though she announced their separation in January after ten years of marriage.
“It’s my kids’ father,” Jessica stated in an interview that TMZ aired on November 28. “Family first.”
“No matter what, your kid is half the other person,” she clarified. “Always have respect in what you say around [your kids] so they can always have a good perspective on it.”
Jessica went on, “Unconditional love is important.”
The retired NFL player and the All's Fair actress were together in September to celebrate, demonstrating that they practice what they preach.
Living in Las Vegas is Ashlee Simpson.
“We are all a big, happy family, so it's important for all of us,” in September, Jessica informed media reporters. “We wouldn't have missed Ashlee, are you kidding me? It was such a moment.”
