Julianne Hough is prepared to be a part of a successful team since it takes a pair to tango. As she gets ready for a new year, the Dancing With the Stars cohost shared what she wants in a romantic relationship, acknowledging that she isn't fussy about potential mates.
“It's all energy-based,” prior to Dick Clark's 2026 New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, she exclusively informed news organizations. “I don't really have a type. It's more connection, and that's it.”
Julianne, who was married to Brooks Laich from 2017 to 2022, is also receptive to any kind of relationship.
“I'm always looking for love, whether it's in a romantic sense or friends,” the 37-year-old added. “Always.”
For the time being, Julianne is getting ready to co-host the annual New Year's countdown with Rob Gronkowski in Las Vegas, where fans can anticipate a ton of exciting entertainment. The countdown airs live on ABC on December 31 at 8 p.m. ET and on Hulu the following day.
“What is more fun and screams celebration than Vegas?” she revealed. “It’s incredible. The performances, the lineup—it’s pretty spectacular.”
The Emmy winner hopes that the countdown won't be their final coupling, even if she is excited to be matched with the four-time Super Bowl champion for the televised event.
“I just said to him, ‘I feel like we should do some fun dance TikToks,’” she made fun of. “I'm trying to get him on [DWTS]. That would be really fun.”
In fact, Julianne hopes to give Gronk, 36, some early training for the dancing competition in between their cohosting duties.
“I think I can teach him a whole season’s worth of dancing,” she made a joke, “if we have some tequila and [are] ready to pop bottles in Vegas for New Year's Rockin' Eve.”
Julianne has never been a self-filtering person.
